As with many topics, wind energy is portrayed both positively and negativelyin the media. Understanding the source and motive o dierent media is animportant skill. By examining the words and images used in media, students willlearn how to decipher media messages and the methods o persuasion.

Students will use theconcepts o ethos, pathos, and logos to categorize their analyses. Following theiranalyses, they will write a persuasive argument or or against wind energy.
