6-1-6 Fence Ordinance
(a)It shall be unlawful to build or cause to be built any type of fence along the streetfrontage without first obtaining a permit from the city clerk. The permit shall beissued at no charge. The fence shall be erected along the existing property line, to aheight of no more than 48 inches above the ground in the front and side yards and notcloser than three (3) feet to the curbing.(b)All fences shall be constructed of appropriate and commonly accepted residentialfencing materials and shall not be constructed of livestock type fencing materialsincluding, but not limited to welded wire, barbed wire, or chicken wire.(c)Any fence which is not properly maintained in good repair will be in violation of thisordinance.
8-1-5 Obstruction of view and use by trees and shrubs:
(a) All Shrubbery, trees, signs and fences within 10 feet of any street corner each wayfrom the corner and the diagonal thereof within the city limits shall be cut or trimmedto a height of not more that 30 inches from the ground by the owner or occupant of the property. _______________________________ ______________________________ Applicant Signature City Clerk or Authorized Agent. _____________________________ _
