 1.FADE IN:EXT. LAKE - DAYA FISHERMAN stands along a bank fishing on a lazy summerday.
The fish aren’t biting. He doesn’t seem to care, he’s
in his element.A NOISE in the bushes behind him. He glances back, seesnothing.He chews on his cigar, watches his float in the water.Another SOUND in the bushes. He glances back, seesnothing. He shrugs, continues fishing.A GROWLING sound. The Fisherman glances behind him andsees a wild woman with red hair on all fours -- aWILDCAT woman.She leaps on all fours toward the Fisherman, HSSING athim.Baffled, the Fisherman retreats, seeming a bit fearful.The Wildcat eyes him with interest and curiosity. Shesniffs the air.She slowly circles him, investigating him, sniffing inhis direction. The Fisherman studies her, puzzled.FISHERMANUm... mam, can I help you with something?No reaction from her. She notices a rock on the ground,picks it up, slings it at him.FISHERMANHey!Then she finds a stick, picks it up, approaches theFisherman and whacks him with it.FISHERMANUh... mam, are you okay?She notices his float out in the water. She throwsrocks at it.FISHERMAN
Please, mam, don’t do that. The
 
fish won’t bite with all that
commotion in the water...
 
 2.The Wildcat slowly approaches the Fisherman and smellsof him all over. He watches, concerned.She grabs his shoe and tries to remove it, he strugglesto keep it on.She goes through his fishing bag and empties it. Shefinds some rubber fishing worms and eats them.She takes off his jacket and throws it to the ground andbeats it with a stick ferociously, growling.The Fisherman watches her, puzzled.FISHERMAN
My name is Ernest Jones. What’s yours?
 She pauses, looks at him, thinking... not seeming toosure.FISHERMANWhere do you live?She studies him, tilting her head, puzzled.FISHERMANWhere is your home?She slowly looks to the sky and points in thatdirection. He glances up.FISHERMANThe sky?
She doesn’t respond. He looks back out at his floa
t,chuckling.FISHERMANOr maybe outer space. Yeah, I betyour from outer space.The Wildcat sees something in the distance and suddenlyleaps away, hiding in the bushes. The Fisherman watchesher depart and then sees someone approaching --
it’s
aMAN.The Man nods at the Fisherman.MAN
Excuse me, sir, I don’t mean to
alarmyou, but a wildcat escaped our traveling
circus just down the road. You haven’t
 seen anything, have you?FISHERMANA wildcat, you say?
