Krystin Danielle Glass

Krystin Glass graduated from Appalachian State University in December 2012 with a Bachelors degree in public relations. Recently, she completed a threemonth internship with University Communications, located on the Appalachian State University campus. Through this experience, many of her news and feature stories were published on the Appalachian State University homepage. Currently, she works as a cashier at Woodlands Barbeque in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Previously, she was a student employee at the Plemmons Student Union, where she has received the honor of employee of the week and crew of the week twice in less than a year. After two years serving as a chairperson of Appalachian Popular Programming Society, the largest student-run organization on campus, she gained valuable experience in managing local, regional, and national level music events. She also led councils of students in the marketing and promotion of these events. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering with Horse Helpers of the High Country, a nonprofit organization based out of Boone, NC that rescues sick and abused horses and gives them a second chance at life. Attending live music concerts is a passion of hers and she plans to attend concerts for the rest of her life.
