! Startup Weekend is aweekend-long, hands-on learning experiencethat brings together aspiring entrepreneurs,students, designers, coders, marketers, andinterested community members. This first-of-a-kind event is a phenomenal opportunity to takeyour idea from a dream to reality. Not onlywill this event be held in Roseburg, but otherStartup Weekends will be hosted during Aprilin communities from Oregon and Washingtonall the way to Lithuania, Sudan, Nigeria andNorway!The opening night on Friday is kicked off withan open mic business idea pitch-off whereparticipants discuss their ideas and inspireothers to join them on a team for the weekend.The next two days focus on creating a businessin 54 hours! Teams develop their customerbase, validate their ideas, create a minimumviable product and more. During Sundayevening, the teams pitch their final concept to apanel of judges from the area and show off their product in a presentation.
This isn’t just a business event, it’s an
