SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION
:
Thisprogram is a Special Focus Competitionto support projects addressing aparticular problem area or improvementapproach in postsecondary education.The competition also includes aninvitational priority to encourageproposals designed to support theformation of educational consortia of American, Canadian and Mexicaninstitutions to encourage cooperation inthe coordination of curricula, theexchange of students and the opening of educational opportunities throughoutNorth America. The invitational priorityis issued in cooperation with Canadaand Mexico. Canadian and Mexicaninstitutions participating in anyconsortium proposal responding to theinvitational priority may apply,respectively, to Human ResourcesDevelopment Canada and the MexicanDepartment of Public Education foradditional funding under separateCanadian and Mexican competitions.
