HSA Overview
•A Health Savings Account (HSA) is aspecial account owned by an individualused to pay for current and future medicalexpenses.•HSAs are used in conjunction with a “HighDeductible Health Plan”(HDHP).
–Insurance that does not cover first dollarmedical expenses (except for preventive care) –Can be an HMO, PPO or indemnity plan, aslong as it meets the requirements
