In a random sampling of public opinion taken by
the Forum Poll™ among 403 Ontarians 18 years of age and older who are eligible
to vote in the soon-to-be-announced provincial by-election to replace theretiring Dwight Duncan in Windsor-Tecumseh, more than 4-in-10 will vote NDP(42%), compared to one third who will vote Liberal (32%) and about a fifth whowill vote PC (19%).When voting preference is tested with the last election's
candidate’s
names, andSandra Pupatello replacing Dwight Duncan, the Liberals garner more than 4-in-10votes (44%), to 3-in-10 for the NDP's Andrew McAvoy (31%).
