Brother, here i would like to add for the benefit of our non-Muslim friends that before Islam came, Christianity was the true divine religion. and before Chistianity the true divine religion was Judaism (religion of the Jews). the divine faiths have been ordained by One God, thru his successive prophets Moses (PBUH), Jesus Christ (PBUH) and Mohammad (PBUH) respectively. each prophet was also given a Book, Gospel, Bible and Quran, and the basic teachings of them all were the same. but what we have to realize is that as the new prophet and revelation came, it superceded the last one. so that, as of now the only true faith is Islam, the only true Prophet is Mohammad (PBUH)and the only true divine book is the Quran. the chronological sequence (between the religions)) could have been different, but it is God's Will. so every person of the book (Jew and Christian) needs to come to the new scripture (at least read it once). they will definitely realize in their heart, that the God of their book is the same God , who in His infinite wisdom revealed the new scripture , the Holy Quran. regards to all
