in the beginning, the modernists created the heavens and the earth.

they laid the foundations of good, set laws in place so that every man, woman, and child across the world could live in harmony under a banner of theirdesign. and yea, it was good. there was order in the world. lion lay with lamb.

then there were rumors and whispers. some began to question the laws put in place by the modernists. some couldnt live in a world of order, and sought chaos and the freedom of individuality that came with it. they unyoked themselves from the burden of their fathers, and sought out a new life they could live on their own terms. they began to call themselves postmodernists, and they lived together in peace, man.

years passed, fathers had sons and sons became fathers. then slowly, the world began to change. it began to shrink smaller, and smaller to the point the people, once independent, found themselves in eachothers backyards, their noses pressed to eachothers windows. they were so engrossed in watching eachother, they soon they began to change. they began look alike, talk alike. their individuality lost once again.
