Mifflin Township’s police chief was suspended with pay 
this week for undisclosed disciplinary reasons.
Chief Michael Pocock 
 , head of the 20-officer department 
since 2005, attended Monday morning’s township meeting where the three

 job Wednesday after an investigation found that he made “boorish, disrespectful, andinsulting” remarks to female employees
and that his behavior was offensive. The report states
that in the summer of 2011, Cummings said to a pregnant officer, “You’re almost as fat as Iam,” and asked another female employee who had a tattoo, “How drunk were you when yougot that?”
The city placed Cummings, 57, on paid administrative leave and has startedproceedings to fire him, Mayor Setti Warren said at a press conference. Full article
