What's the lastcool thing you bought ata flea market?
Melissa:
I bought anold, vintage style radiobut that wasn't at a fleamarket. The last coolthing I bought at a fleamarket? Well, I kind of went to a ... it was like aflea market. I mean,kids on the universitycampus were sellingtheir old clothes andstuff and I got this verynice winter jacket for about 50 cents.
Todd:
50 cents?
Melissa:
Yes.
Todd:
Wow!
Melissa:
Yeah. It's rightthere. That one. It'sgreen.
Todd:
That's a nice jacket!
Melissa:
Thanks.
Todd:
I like the price.Like, they said, "nope" -75 cents - too much. 25cents - too cheap. Nowdid you actually hagglefor 50 cents?
Melissa:
No, now that jacket was actually thatprice, but some other kids at a different spoton the same site weredoing a game whereyou shoot down thingswith this kind of playgun and get points andthen depending on howmany points you got,you could choose froma different group of stuff. So, I was shootingfor a CD-Stereo, but Iended up only getting a jacket and and a hatand some accessorieslike a watch and anecklace. Yeah, so thatwas kind of disappointing cause Iended up walking awaywith a bunch of stuff Ididn't want or need.That was good on their behalf. I thought thatwas good sales tactic,cause I thought I wasplaying a game and Iwas enjoying shootingstuff down and gettingpoints but then Irealized I was acquiringthese things I didn'tneed.
