Dear AFS Students and Families,Spring is a busy time of year. You are involved in school activities, sports, hobbies, familyactivities, prom, and getting ready for graduation. You are comfortable in your school andfamily. You really feel like you belong here.Now is the time to start to prepare for your journey back home. You have changed and so haveyour friends and family awaiting your arrival in your home country. They expect the same friend,son, or daughter to return. You have grown and matured, and have had experiences they mightnot ever experience. You have become a member of a new family that I hope will last the restof your life and are leaving them behind. It may seem overwhelming or seem to be somethingyou would rather ignore. Part of your journey is to face these issues and prepare for goinghome.Pre-Return Orientation is upon us. Please add it to your calendar as it is a
MANDATORY
 event. This is required by the US State Department for all exchange students.

9:00 – 10:30As you can see, we will be finished early afternoon for those of you who have a prom thatevening. This is the last time that you will be together as a group, as some will depart in May.Plan to enjoy time with your friends. We will have a lunch, so we would like you to bring a salador a dessert.
