 Artsy/Eclectic
Start at Wiregrass Gallery on North Broad Street for loads of local art and crafts - the shop is always tended  by a resident artist and the offerings and price rangeare vast. Mosey over to Earthlover for fair trade goods with global flair, including freshly baked bread, tabletop items, homedecor, bags, baskets, etc. Round the corner onto Jackson St. for lunch at Liam’s, they’ve got a broad midday menu with standard lunch  prices - I usually have the Mediterranean Plate in thesummer and the artisan mac-n-cheese in the winter.Order wine and pretend you’re in France! Head south on Broad and visit the Bookshelf, makingsure to see the gallery upstairs - they have a seasonal exhibit from mostly local artists; past exhibits include blown glass, collage, photography.Continue south down to Forever Retro for a spectacularcollection of vintage and mid-century goods - go-go boots, oil paintings, furniture and period costume jewelry.
