)Pursuant to Section 103 of the General Municipal Law andSections 408 and 408-a of the County Law.WHEREAS, the Clerk of the Legislature was authorized to advertise for sealed bids forthe provision of various materials, according to specifications provided by the Public Works Committee,now, therefore, be itRESOLVED, that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized to contract for crushedstone, rock rip rap, concrete catch basins, portland cement concrete, flexible concrete mats, bridgestructural steel, geotextile fabric and processed gravel, with the following bidders recommended by thePublic Works Committee for the term May 1, 2013 through April 30, 2014, and be it furtherRESOLVED, that any county, city, village, town, school, or fire district in CattaraugusCounty may participate in the bid prices by dealing directly with the bidder, and be it furtherRESOLVED, that the County of Cattaraugus reserves the right to make purchases of theaforementioned items at any time during the term for which the bids are taken and to require suitablebond to guarantee delivery.
