It is a movie about friendship. Four friends come across a pair of jeans thatmagically fits each girl perfectly. They use these jeans to help stay together during their first summer apart. Bridget, Lena, Carmen and Tibby, are all extremely close and shareeverything together. They are anxious about spending their first summer away from eachother and are scared at what might happen when they are alone. The pants help themrealize that they can be ok on their own as long as they keep in touch and stay connected.Bridget: Is played by Blake Lively. She does an amazing job in this role. Bridgethas long beautiful blonde hair and blue eyes. She is athletic, particularly into soccer, andwhenever something is bothering her, she runs. Her mother committed suicide andBridget is not close with her father. The only people she can depend on in her life is her 3 best friends. In the movie, she goes away to soccer camp in Mexico, where she falls inlove with a guy named Eric. The only problem is, he is a camp counselor and it isforbidden. He likes her back but just can’t be with her. She is divested but doesn’t want togive up. She follows him to a bar, where she just gets shut down and then she gets sick.Bridget has a very different personality. She is either really happy and upbeat and full of energy when things in her life are good, but when it is bad, she goes into a downwardspiral and it is hard to come back out.Lena: Is played by Alexis Bledel. She does a fantastic job in this role. Lena is avery artistic girl. She loves to draw and paint. She is very quiet and does not have muchself confidence. She tries to hide herself in oversized skirts and blouses and her style ismore old fashion. Lena has this curly brown hair, it falls just below her shoulders and shehas deep set blue eyes. She has a pale complexion and id thin and tall. Lena is Greek, andduring the summer, she goes to Santirini Greece, to visit her grandparents. She falls inlove with the island but also a boy named Kostos. The only problem is, her grandparentsdo no like him and do not want her to be with him. She can’t help it, and goes behindtheir backs and spends time with Kostos. She paints a portrait of him and her grandmother finds out. They forbid her to ever speak to him again. At the end, her grandfather gives her permission to go with him.
