This edion of the Student Aairs Annual

represented in our student populaon
parallels the diversity of the community welive in.University of Manitoba students are a vibrant
and dynamic group who are commiedto being successful in our educaonalenvironment. Our mission in Student Aairs isto “create opportunies for student success,”
and we believe this mission is being achieved.
Our students have a track record of signicant
academic success, including a high number of
Rhodes scholars, athlec achievements and
numerous accomplishments in the arts and
compeons of a far-ranging nature. We inStudent Aairs work with students every day,
not only in enabling them to overcome anyobstacles to learning, but as importantly, in
assisng them in growing and developing and
being all that they can be.The University of Manitoba and Student

that their success is our success. We mustconnue as a community to send a strong
message to our students that we welcome
them here, and that every eort will be
made to ensure their success and theirgrowth and development both inside andoutside the classroom.
Student Aairs has posioned itself to
