From the first image taken I have then opened it in Photoshop and cropped the image to fit the

rule of thirds and then so the main forcus of the image will be her eyes in the centre of the page. I have also then duplicated the image so there is a larger space at the top of the page for the header and so the title will then not cover her face.

Next I edited the brightness of the image and added a contrast to it so details were more defined and noticeable. After this I then altered the vibrance so there is a lighter and more colourful filter to the photo and relating to the positive, bright and lively.

Next I added the text over the top of the image; this included the main masthead at the top of the page in a purple Algerian font. I added the footer text, black TektonPro font, in the blank panel at the bottom of the page. Then any other sell/cover lines down the left or right side of the page fitted around the face of the main image are also in the TektonPro font and a mixture of black purple, aqua and orange colours.

Finally I added purple and aqua rectangular boxes behind the main sell line and footer to highlight the information, and then I changed the opacity so it was of a lighter shade and blended into the background. Also I added a Price and Issue tag and also a barcode so the magazine is then sellable to customers.
