I appreciate the host home leaders, co-host leaders, group leaders, supper crew, the ones that broughtdesserts, and for all the ones that prayed for us throughout theweekend. We had a great time in Christ and my prayer is thatwe begin to live out what we heard.
I would also like to thank the groups that decided that my newhouse was a mission project. It was amazing to see the differenceafter they were through cleaning the yard and the inside. You guysand gals ROCK!

Do you ever get confused as to why God is calling you to dosomething? I feel that way sometimes. I know the gifts God hasgiven me, but sometimes I think He asks me to use them in thestrangest ways. You may be feeling like that right now. God may be asking youto use your gifts for VBS and you are certain that working withchildren is NOT your thing. Confusing, right?Well, I am here to tell you I have some amazing opportunities toserve with VBS this year- no kid contact required! I have many pre-week tasks for individuals capable of woodworking or building, as well as projects, like the offering team or adult VBS,that will take place during the week that are kiddo-free. And Iam certain that there are projects I have yet to discover because Ihave yet to hear from you about what God is asking you to do.Part of my job here at FBC is to help plug you into a ministry. I pray it is the children's ministry. But my desire is to see youserve this church and this city in any capacity. You will blessme by sharing your journey of discovery as to where God iscalling you. And that discovery will be a blessing to you. And,this girl loves to watch blessings pour down from heaven!Stacey
