GUIDE TO PREPARE A BUSINESS PRESENTATION

This document has been designed to help you to prepare your business presentations in alogical and structured manner. The preparation of a presentation consists of twostages:Stage 1:Previous questions you need to address.Stage 2:Designing the presentation.
Stage 1.Previous questions
Before starting to design your presentation, you need to formulate an accurate answer to thefollowing three questions:1)What is the goal of my presentation?2)What are the main characteristics of the audience?3)What are the main points or ideas I want to stress and what benefits to they offer tothe audience?
The goal.
When I finish my presentation, I want the audience:
To know...(think of what you want them to be informed about)
To believe...(think of what you want them to be convinced about)
To act... (think of what you want them to do)
1.The audience.
What interests and needs they have?What do they expect from me?How might they think about my ideas and arguments?Is there anything I should not mention?
2.The principal ideas and its advantages.
What are the main points or ideas of my presentation?
