Jona Dayton Deed to Stephen Burrows This indenture made this seventeenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & fifteen by & between Jonathan Dayton of Elizabethtown in the State of New Jersey & Susan his wife of the one part and Stephen Burrows of the same place of the other part witnesseth that the said Jonathan and Susan Dayton for & in consideration of the sum of fifteen hundred & forty seven dollars to them in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have given granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed conveyed and confirmed by these presents do give grant bargain sell alien enfeoff convey & confirm unto the said party of the second part & to his heirs & assigns forever, all that certain tract & parcel of land situated lying & being in the thirty fourth section in the thrd township in the second fractional Range of townships within that district between the Miami rivers called Symmes purchase & in the county of Hamilton containing three hundred & fifty seven acres bounded on the north the west & the south by the northern the western and the southern boundary lines of the said section number thirty four and on the east by sundry lots sold and conveyed hereto fore to Ireland Roller & others. Together with all & singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances to have and to hold all & singular the aforesaid tract of three hundred & fifty seven acres with the appertences the said Stephen Burrows & his heirs & assigns to and for his and their only proper use surfit and befoof forever. And the said Jonathan & Susan Dayton for them selves their heirs executors & administrators do covenant grant & agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs executors administrators & assigns that they are the true sole & lawful owners of the above described tract & have full power to dispose of the same and that they will well & truly warrant and defend the said tract & every part thereof unto the said Stephen Burrows his heirs and assigns agst the lawful claims & demands of all persons wheresoever. twenty first day of April eighteen hundred and fifteen & severally acknowledged that they signed sealed and delivered the within instrument as their act and deed for the uses and purposes therein expressed and the said Susan being examined by me separate and apart from her husband said she executed the same freely such from any threat or constraint of her husband. Abstract Deed of Stephen Burrows Hamilton County, OH Deed Book O:327 Received 20 July 1815; Recorded 24 August 1815 Deed: Jona Dayton Deed to Stephen Burrows This indenture made the seventeenth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and fifteen by and between JONATHAN DAYTON of Elizabethtown New Jersey, SUSAN his wife and STEPHEN BURROWS of the same, in consideration of the sum of fifteen hundred & forty seven dollars, do give the parcel of land situated in the thirty fourth section, in the third township, in the second fractional Range of townships within that district between the Miami rivers called Symmes purchase and in the county of Hamilton [Ohio], bounded on the north, west and south by the northern, western and southern boundary lines of section number thirty four, and on the east by sundry lots, together with the rights and privileges, three hundred & fifty seven acres to
STEPHEN BURROWS for his use forever. JONATHAN and SUSAN DAYTON covenant they are

Judges of the Court of Common Pleas for the County of Essex [New Jersey], this twenty first day of April eighteen hundred and fifteen, acknowledged that they signed and delivered this instrument as their act therein expressed and SUSAN [DAYTON] being examined by me separate from her husband said she executed the same freely.
