Today, starts my new Monday weekly series, ‘Plus LaBelle Vie’ 
--a more beautiful life. With interviews and information about people, places, or things related tosister cities~San Francisco and Paris.From my living in San Francisco for 20-years and my son completing graduate school in Paris and becoming aFrench citizen--
I’ve been fascinated with the simpatico
shared between these artsy, romantic, techy, and innovative sister cities.
 
With our thoughts and beliefs the architects of our destiny; and our world poised between enchantment and destruction; I want to kick start the weeks with beauty. As Keats declared: truth is beauty and beauty, truth. Wesay both attributes shine.
 
The energetic definition of truth and beauty is that thereis an inner order of things, a coherence of parts that create a magnetic, vitalized whole. Beauty as aninherent cosmic quality. A spiritual art form.
Why Focus on ‘A More Beautiful Life’ Now~
 
Two reasons. One personal. One global. The costly accident that ended my career and left me with chronic 
challenges was followed by my brother’s still 
unbelievably tragic death, and then our parents.In an over-prescribed, pill-gobbling society--I've not taken one. I experienced the psyche pyre and did not numb out of that 
Dark Night. Now it’s time to revive
beauty as a life form.
 
The Dalai Lama said the world would be saved and restored by western women. Perhaps remembering that as First Lady, Jacqueline Kennedy, struck a match tolight the top of the world by her dedication to beauty.The good she did flowed from that intention. We do not require any greater pledge or anthem than...from thisday forward I will create beauty in everything. Or,otherwise ignore it.
