Follow the evidence. See how names change. Ambulance runs are misreported. Receipts simply not reported. It's life in Wonderland, MA 01005. And by all accounts the Commonwealth knows what's happening . . .

The Department of Public Health’s
Office of Emergency Medical Services
refuses toaccept any responsibility for the
Barre Emergency & Rescue Squad Inc
.’s feral businessdealings. The 501©3 goes by three names, it’s never reported its ambulance receipts tothe IRS (or Commonwealth), it’s provided the state with no fewer than six businessaddresses, and its manager as used no fewer than three titles. To make matters even more ridiculous, the Rescue Squad has reported to OEMS asbeing the designated licensee and the
Barre EMS
as the service provider. The Squad’sManager, Charles Fullam, even provided the nonprofit’s federal identification numberto the state in a 2008 filing. On both occasions OEMS cited
clerical/reporting errors
leading to these
mistakes
.Mind you, Outsiders, the filings are legal documents. If you’re late to this
 game
then simply check out these documents:

This story picks up with an email from
OEMS’s Silva Cameron
, the agency’sRegulatory Manager, on

when he once again assured me there wasno obfuscation or worse – lies.http://www.scribd.com/doc/125095258/The-Hits-Keep-Rollin-Dept-Public-Health-Defends-Its-SpinI would reply to Mr. Cameron on

RE: FOLLOW-UP: Complaint Barre EMSMr. Cameron:If true then please help me understand a certain
Ambulance Service License
for12/31/06 – 12/31/08. It was issued by the DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH(signed by the Commissioner) and it clearly states the
BARRE EMERGENCY &RESCUE SQUAD INC.
(the 501©3,
not
the Town of Barre
) as the LICENSEE.
 And
theDPH recognized the fictitious dba
BARRE AMBULANCE SERVICE
as the service

provider. As I’ve told Mr. Murphy, the BARRE AMBULANCE SERVICE is an illegaldba; the Town of Barre has no record of this entity. Nonetheless, the Barre Emergency& Rescue Squad has used this name synonymously on legal documents with the BarreAmbulance Service and OEMS has acknowledged this fact by applying the sameService Number, 3-2-6-2, to these entities as well as to BARRE EMS.It’s all on record. In fact, the Department of Public Health’s document from March 7, 2012 reveals thevery same arrangement: Licensee: BARRE EMERGENCY & RESCUE SQUADINC./Service Provider: BARRE AMBULANCE SERVICE . But in an email to me dated2/07/13 you described this as a “clerical error”,http://www.scribd.com/doc/102535217/EMS-Chameleon-Barre-s-Acting-Director .
