Patient Tracking (Ideal world)
Steps
:
1.Patient A arrives in Exam Room.Patient A is equipped with a wirelessdevice that allows proper ID (e.g.RFID wristband)2.System identifies patient and recordstime. Reader Location is associatedwith patient location3.System identifies medical devices tobe used for care episode.4.Exam data collected and correlatedwith patient ID. Patient data isaccessed if available5.Data is archived for the care episode6.Patient B enters room while PatientA is still in (Med devices could bereused at different times)7.System detects to which patientcollected data belongs8.Data collection for Patient A isstopped when patient leaves room.Session is kept active for next step
