Oxord andits immediate environs rom ChippingNorton to Wantage, Chinnor to Burord,remains a highly popular destination or house buying and rental – as can be seenrom the commentaries inside – drivenby aspirational parents (surely all cannotwant to be like Jeremy Clarkson?), goodschooling and accessibility to London and,increasingly, the Midlands. With an election looming and the tempobetween the parties increasingly stridentit is good to remember that whatever theweather ahead, property is still as sae abet as ever provided the loan to asset ratiois kept in check, and it seems unlikely thebanks will get carried away again in theshort term.
