I had a great time working with Company X on the Product Y and Product Z campaigns. We haven't had the opportunity to work together recently, but I'm writing today to let you know about a unique promotional opportunity I'd like to share with you.
I'm sure by now you're familiar with BlogHer, but on the off chance that you're not, let me give you a quick overview. BlogHer is an annual blogging conference that "will bring bloggers from every corner of the blogosphere together for hands-on learning, rich discussions, opportunities to meet with the brands that support them and plentiful networking opportunities." This is a fantastic opportunity to turn those social media networking connections into real life, face-to-face connections in an environment created to foster those connections.
I am currently seeking sponsorship for my own attendance, and I believe that Company X and My Blog would make for a fruitful partnership because of X, Y, and Z. As you can see from the attached media kit, my site ranks high for the key demographics your company is currently targeting with Product Y.
In return for your sponsorship, Company X will receive personal thanks and recognition on My Blog, as well as my support at the BlogHer Conference itself. Just a few ideas I have are:
- Live Tweeting the event with an occasional mention of Company X
- Passing out samples or other media
- Wear clothing with the Company X logo
Of course I'm fully open to your ideas and suggestions as well. Your sponsorship shows this community you support women bloggers and understand their value as partners in the promotion of your products via blogging and other social media.
