DAVID BERGERON:
Good morning. Accordingto my watch it is 9:00. We have many folks signedup with us today for this regional hearing onnegotiated rulemaking. Thank you all for coming.Thank you, those of you who are going to present. We really do value your testimony and your input. As you know, this is the third in a seriesof regional hearings. We have one at UC Berkeley, one at Loyola Chicago, and one here. We did theone here because we had knowledge that there weregoing to be some financial aid officers and folksinvolved in the student loan programs here inOrlando. Funny how that is, we knew that theywould be here, and so we decided that this would bea great opportunity for us to have a regionalhearing here in Florida, and then we will have onenext week in Washington, D.C.If either you do not have the time orinclination to get up to the microphone and saysomething, and I can fully understand that, whypeople do not want to talk into microphones--we arereceiving public comments by e-mail. We are doingthat until November 9
