Co Ltd. was established at Lalbaug, Mumbai.•In the year 1918, Godrej soaps limited came into being .•In 1920, he revolutionized the Soap industry by manufacturing thefirst toilet soap purely from vegetable oils.•In April 2001,Godrej Industries was formed the consumer productsdivision of Godrej Soaps Ltd. & was demerged to form Godrejconsumer Products Ltd. (G.C.P.L).
