Historic Downtown
Enjoy old-fashioned street lamps and original Victorianbuildings along Main Street and Center Street. There aremany shops for browsing and wonderful restaurants.Rebecca’s (Center Street) is our favorite place to grabsome ice cream! Make sure you get your free sample of bread from the Great Harvest Bread Company (East MainStreet)—we love this place! Take a side-step off of town tovisit some of Northville’s beautiful historic homes. There isfree Wi-Fi available outdoors in the Town Square.
Mill RaceHistoric Village
This village is a living museum!The village consists of an inn,blacksmith shop, school,church, gazebo, rustic woodenbridge, Interurban station andseveral homes dating frombefore 1900. It was one of our favorite play destinations as children. Fromdowntown, turn left on E. Main Street and make your first left onto Griswald.The park will be on your left. Free Admission.
Fort GriswoldPlayground
Want to swing, climb, and play?Visit this big wooden playscapeand run until your heart’scontent. Just down the streetfrom Mill Race.
Northville Down’sHorse Racetrack 
Feel like taking a gamble? Thereisn’t live racing in the summer, butyou can bet on tracks around thecountry and maybe win a buck or two if you are 18 or older. Theracetrack is located downtown atSouth Center Street and 7 Mile.
Twelve Oaks Mall
A beautiful mall and shopping complex, the Northville/Novi area is known for itsgreat shopping! Check out all your favorite stores here. Located at NoviRoad and 12 Mile. 
Historic Downtown Plymouth
Just a hop-skip and a jump away from Northville, Plymouth also has a beautifuldowntown and even more shopping than Northville. Stroll along the streetswindow-shopping or grab a bite to eat. Take Center Street (becomes SheldonRoad) approx. 4 miles South, and make a left on West Ann Arbor Trail.
Maybury State Park 
Just a few minutes’ drive, on 8 Mile Road just past Beck Road, is MayburyState Park. The park contains 1,000 acres of gently rolling terrain, openmeadow, mature forest, a variety of wildlife and abundant wildflowers. There isa working farm with many animals. We always played here as kids or wentbike riding in the park.
