Mondragon, Lorelie V.February 26, 2009BSICT-1BVALTWO
My Three C’s:
I have three secret C’s in my life. I have Commitment, Competence, and Compassion. But theBig C for me is the virtue of Compassion. For me, Compassion is being modest. I mean freefrom negative things, free from high pride, from boastfulness, from great pretensions just beingHUMANE, HUMBLE, and just being PLAIN. As I grew up having a complete and loving familythus loving and respecting elders and others is not old for me. We are Christian. We attend Massevery Sunday and every 23
rd
of the moth. My mother always attends El Shaddai in our Churchevery Monday. Sometimes, I and my siblings go also. My mom and dad are kind, industrious, loving and helpful. I think we have a high feeling of Compassion, I just don’t know the showingthing, hehehe. I, I am Lorelie V. Mondragon. I live at #4 Capt. Miguel, Gonzaga St., San. Pedro,Sto. Tomas, Batangas. I think I am compassionate enough to satisfy a little expectation in tryingto be near perfect category. I love God. I love myself. I love and honor my parents. Butsometimes I tell lies and disobey them and the bottom part is I really need them. Not because Ineed them I love them. No, they are my parents and I owe the things I have to them and theyhave the first degree access to my life. I love my friends and classmates. I love my neighbors. Ihelp my parents in doing household chores. I help my siblings in their home works. I help myfriends and classmates in their problems. I have concern in our nation. I have a concern in myneighbors. I help others to in a small way. I always greet everybody. It means a little thing towhat our saints had done but it means a lot for me and I am proud to myself that I know even alittle I am being a better person. Thanks for everything dad and mom and most to Him. I had alsoa volunteer work when I was in high school where I teach graders catechism or religion class. Ialso try to be a reader in our Church last year. He he he, my insights about Compassion is good. And being helpful to those in needs is what God always want us to do. It is better to give rather than to receive. Because in giving those who need it see us as their knight in shining armor saving them in a dark and scary nightmare. Always remember that “God has given enough for everyone's need, but not enough for everyone's greed.” I pray that the Holy Spirit will guide us tofollow God’s will. Then back on the track is Competence. For me Competence meaning is an ability to perform atask, function or action successfully. Being industrious, perseverance, doing the best, notdistressing something is competence. Competence is not itself if we practice
“ningas kugon”.
Being competent means beings always punctual, updated, resourceful, and very acquainting, lotsof guts, lots of self esteem and trust to his or her capacities and abilities. Life without perseverance to be competent is like frying using sleeping cooking oil. I study hard for myfamily and for our future. In studying, you have to be industrious, patient in solving math
