Adolf Hitler:A very cruel person
Jason MaypaJanuary 14, 2008Ms. McFaddenAdolf Hitler 1Adolf Hitler: A Evil Man
Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believeit." Adolf Hitler. Adolf Hitler, a very terrible and evil man, is a very interesting person tolearn about. Even though he was the one that caused the Holocaust and genocide to hisown people, Hitler is still one of the greatest mysteries of the world. Hitler orderedanyone who stood against him to be killed. He set up concentration camps where massmurders took place. This was the beginning of the Holocaust. Hitler is a much hatedman although, through his eyes he was not causing evil.In Hitler's childhood he was always ordered around by his father who was very demanding. Hitler was frequently beaten by his father. His father wanted him to followin his footsteps. He wanted Hitler to be an architect but he wanted to be an artist. Hetried to enter art school but was rejected twice. Hitler eventually moved to Germany to join the army where he fought in World War I. After Germany surrendered, Hitler was shocked and appalled. He felt betrayed.Hitler had fought for his country and felt crushed. He had battled so hard for Germany and when they surrendered, he felt like he was betrayed by the one thing he devoted hislife to. To fight back Hitler joined politics.Hitler joined the National Socialists German Workers Party, later called the Nazi
Party, which he felt had the best interest of Germany in their forefront. Hitler spoke atmeetings for the party and was asked to come back. After he spoke several times, hebecame the president of this organization and invented the swastika. In 1920, the 25Points of the Nazi Party were proclaimed, one called for the removal of the Jews fromthe German Society. The Nazis tried to seize power by force in November 1923, but were stopped by the Munich police. Hitler was convicted of high treason. He was sentenced to prison, where he served about a year. While in prison he began to write
 Mein Kampf
("My Struggle"), which later became the second Bible in Nazi Germany.Hitler came up with a series of measures designed to eliminate the Jews fromGerman life. Some of these were gradual exclusion from most spheres of professionalactivity, rules as to where they could live, prohibition of marriage and other relationsbetween Germans and Jews, economic sanctions and many others. Jews were harassed, attacked, beaten and otherwise persecuted. Many were incarcerated in concentrationcamps under "protective custody" orders. There they were beaten, abused andfrequently murdered.Hitler decided to run for chancellor of Germany and was appointed by President Von Hindenburg in 1933. When he succeeded, he said “ I begin with the young. Weolder ones are used up. But my magnificent youngsters! Look at these men and boys! What material! With them I can create a new world.” This quote is very true and verbad at the same time. It is good because children are our future. It is bad because Hitler wanted to use them for his own evil purposes. He once also said “ Those who want tolive, let them fight, and those who do not want to fight in this world of the eternalstruggle do not deserve to live”.
