Please note that eligible submissions for this show include only works that originated in the following courses/certificates/focus areas: Works created for Film Production courses in the School of Undergraduate Studies Works created for the Focus Area in Film Form in the Media Studies MA Works created for the Certificate in Documentary Media Studies (and which have already premiered at the Truth be Told screening series) Film projects submitted as part of students MA Thesis in the Media Studies MA Students who fall into these categories are invited to submit no more than two films for consideration. These works should have been completed in the past 2 years. (Student does not need to be currently enrolled to be eligible for the show.) The film cannot exceed 20 minutes in length. Each entry must include the end credit Made in Cooperation with The New School. Works that dont fall into the above categories, or exceed the time limit, or do not include all necessary information, will be disqualified. Your application package should include: (a) the Application form, (b) an attachment with a short filmmakers bio and a brief description of your submission(s) which will be used in the program catalog if your work is selected, and (c) a disc with your work saved as a high resolution file. These materials can be dropped off either at the Media Studies and Film Offices at 70 5th Avenue, 12th floor, room 1216, or the Film Production Office, 66 5th Avenue, 4th floor. Finalists will be notified in early April. Invited works will be screened from a hi-res digital file or, if available, from a 16mm film print.
