Dad's Daily Quotes
\u201cIf you wait, all that happens is that you get older."
Larry McMurtry
Sieze it today.
Hi all
I am in another patch of extreme workload so have been somewhat lax in getting the quotes out this
week. My humble apologies. Especially to our new subscribers over the past couple of weeks.

A big welcome to Jenny from Walkerton. I am only guessing from a Google search but could be Indiana in
the USA or Ontario in Canada. John from I don't know where, welcome. Sarah from Evansville and again
Google guessing Indiana? Sharon from Sydney Australia. Bubbles from again I have no idea. Hey it's Klops
from Sydney!! Jonas from Wellington in New Zealand, Kia -Ora Jonas. Kate from Springwood in Australia,
my daughter in law's bridesmaid's for her wedding to my son Grant. Dylan from St Clair in Sydney. Mark
from Fargo, another Google guess of North Dakota? Lashone from Atlanta. Aric from Hull, Iowa. Steve from
Anderson in maybe Indiana? Sheryn from Sydney. Shawn from? Melissa from the Gold Coast. Janet from
Windsor in Canada. Glenda from Sioux Centre in Iowa. Kevin from Louisville in Georgia. Levi from
Pittsburgh. Gina from Chicago. Jenn from Montgomery in maybe Alabama. Heather from Nowra in
Australia. Diane from ? Ramiro from San Dimas in California. Howard from Blaxland and Rod from Penrith
both from Australia. There are about another six or so without any name logged.

Wow what a list and range of extraordinary people. Welcome everybody and thank you for putting your
trust in me to write something of meaning into your lives. As always it is not something I take lightly and
hope to dedicate some more time to. My wife Wendy and I have a real passion for people and have been
privileged to pursue a great deal of education over the past few years in the whole field of human
endeavour and behaviour. My own work is as the Chief Pilot for NRMA CareFlight in Sydney NSW Australia.
We run two helicopters and three jets serving the community in the delivery of a range of patient care.
Have a look at our website if you are interested.

Wendy is currently studying Psychology at university and completing a degree this year. We have both
completed all of Anthony Robbin's courses on human behaviour, Chris Howard's introductory course, the
Landmark Forum, we are both NLP Practitioners (Steve Linder's course) and will be completing the Master

Practitioner's course later on this year and a range of other activity
relating to peak performance and psychology.

I spent 25 years in the Navy as a pilot. I have a management
degree and a post graduate degree in, you probably guessed it
Social Science majoring in Adult Education. We have three kids,
the two eldest, Brad married to Katherine and Grant married to
Jasmin. Laura our baby is completing her final year of school this
year.

And of course I could go on but I would love to know more about
everybody out there.

So a couple of things, I always try and reply to all emails. If I don't
then it must be I have inadvertently missed your email. I know Pat
said to Wendy she had sent me an email once and hadn't replied. I
don't know what happened there. Sorry Pat. In any event feel free
to drop me a line any time. Candis dropped me a line with a
suggestion for a quote recently and I have it in mind to do
something. There is a little bit of research required for most of

these quotes so it may be a
couple of weeks yet Candis.

Secondly, I would really like to grow this list to leverage off each other and help everybody lead lives of fulfillment and far reaching impact. So if you know soembody that would benefit from reading about events in my life and the references I use to live an exciting life everyday, that also seems to help others lead more fulfilling lives, then please forward these emails to them and ask them to subscribe.

For your own interest there are 164 active subscribers to DDQ with about 15 on average joining per month. My aim is to grow this to 1000 by year's end.

And finally what is all this about? Well for me it's about siezing the day. It
is 1am here in Australia on Friday morning and I am overwhelmed with
my own paperwork for CareFlight but am aware that DDQ doesn't write
itself and I have a responsibility to an incredible body of people out
there. Right now is the time I have. I might not have a tomorrow so here
I am getting this out. Here is the
chorus from another favourite

Christian singer of mine, Carolyn Arends (listen to the full song on You
Tube):

Seize the day, seize whatever you can
'Cause life slips away just like hourglass sand
Seize the day, pray for grace from God's hand
?Then nothing will stand in your way?Seize the day

So how are you going to Sieze the Day today? How are you going to go
above and beyond? Stretch yourself today and give back to somebody.
Make the best use of today and...
Carpe diem
To change one's life: Start immediately. Do it flamboyantly. No
exceptions. - William James
Sieze the day.
I dare you.
