season sports are now in full swing with students and coaches making a very smooth start to the seasonafter tryouts week concluded. I would like to remind all participating students to complete the ATAC on-lineregistration.3

IASAS Cultural Convention:
Next week is Cultural Convention week and ourstudents and advisors will be heading off toSingapore and Kuala Lumpur to attend theDance/Drama/ Debate/Forensics and theArt/Music Festivals. All students and advisorshave been working really hard to refine and honetheir individual and groups skills in these multidisciplinary events. As we all well know fromhosting last years DDDF event it is fantastic weekof student involvement and is a highlight of theschool year to host this event. We wish allinvolved a great experience next week.All cultural convention participants are invited tothe send off lunch on Tuesday March 3rd at LittleTheatre. ISM Goodwill Gymnastics Meet 2009
Our varsity gymnastic team of 24 girls will beproudly representing ISM this Saturday at the ISMGoodwill Gymnastics Meet.Meet starts at 8am and runs all day and with over 200 gymnasts competing in bars, beam, floor andvault you are sure to see some great action.Please stop in and see the MS gym transformedinto a gymnastic facility with gymnaststwisting/tumbling and paparazzi parents a plenty.This day is the biggest on the calendar for our gymnastics team and the gymnastics parentbooster club who assist greatly in the set-up andorganization of the meet.Also on debut will be ISM’s new state of the artOlympic gymnastics floor which was installed lastweekend in time for the meet.Hope you can come on Saturday to cheer andsupport our ISM gymnastics team.

On behalf of the ATAC, Fine Arts and Music Department I would like to send out a huge thank-you to all thefamilies that recently housed for the AMIS Band Festival. Your willingness to be involved in this program wasintegral to it’s success and assists enormously in making this sort of festival come alive at our school.
