The

Intravenous Therapy Program

is primarily designed to ensure safe practice inIntravenous Therapy to uphold quality nursing practice.This program will enhance the nurse's attitude, knowledge and skills in the delivery of theirexpanded role as intravenous nurse therapists; therefore, their knowledge of the nursingprocess and holistic approach to patient care is enhanced and clinical competence is achieved.Each IV Refresher Course consists of

8 hours of didactic sessions

on topics regarding the safenursing practice of intravenous therapy.Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. and IVT updates are conducted from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Each course gives participants

8 CEU (Continuing Education Units)

. The completion of

24units

qualifies IV therapy nurses to renew their IV therapy nurse cards.ANSAP National Trainers conduct the following IVT Refresher courses.

In case of lost IVT card, submit the following:i.

Certificate of Attendance during Basic IVT Training (original and photocopy)ii.

Certificate of Training issued by ANSAP for the Basic IVT Training (originaland photocopy)iii.

Affidavit of Lossg.)

For change in civil status, please attach photocopy of marriage contract

*Renewed IVT Cards will be given on the third day of IVT Update at Aesculap Academy.

Pre-registration

is required to ensure quality learning as Aesculap Academy keeps the

maximumnumber of participants to 50

Registration Fee:

Php 500 per day

Php 1,500 for 3 days

(inclusive of kit, certificate, meal andsnacks). Should you wish to attend only one or two days, each day will require a participation fee of FiveHundred Pesos (Php 500.00).
