เจริญพงศ์ พรหมศร เขียนบทความเรื่องเพลงชาติ ไทย ในฐานะสิ่งประดิษฐ์ทางวัฒน ธรรมการเมือง เพื่ออธิบายว่า มโนทัศน์ความเป็นชาติไทยแล ะคนไทยในปัจจุบัน คือสิ่งที่ถูกกำหนดขึ้นจาก กรอบที่เรียกว่า ชาตินิยม (ที่ค่อนไปทางเชื้อชาตินิย ม แต่ยังไม่รุนแรงเท่าคลั่งช าตินิยม) ของสยาม-ไทย ในอดีตนั่นเอง

This paper is proposes to describe the Thais conceptual through Thai National Anthem analysis. The methodology of this study is Historical approach and Content analysis of Thai National Anthem invented and context of these invented times. The study found Thais conceptual has changed theme from multi-cultural concept to mono-cultural and consist with Thai National Anthem invented in each era.
