Based on the title of the essay itself, Master and slave morality, I expect to learn that there is oneperson in this world who is in favor of slavery. Personally I don’t agree with slavery, I can’t see the reasonbehind it.
Review:
In this essay the author explains that a healthy society should allow superior individuals toexercise their will to power. For this introductory part, I disagree with this why? I really can’t see thereason for slavery, why do they need to do this? For me it’s immoral, to enslave other people while youare relaxing and making fun of them.The author argues that there are two fundamental types of morality : the slave morality andmaster morality. First the Master morality is about the strong-willed morality. For example the good ishelpful, then the bad is the harmful. Well I agree with this type of morality for some reason it is obviousthat the good is helpful and the bad is harmful.Slave morality, this type mo morality holds the virtues : sympathy, kindness, and humility. Thismorality is for weak human beings. I think that the two can’t coexist, because the weak side seeks its ownvalues.
What I have learned:
I learned that morality has two kinds, the slave morality and master morality. With the mastermorality at first I think that is really bad, but I was wrong it is the good and bad or in other words nobleand despicable.
