I appreciate the information on putting line breaks in an ad. You'd think Craigslist would have the functionality built in.

Renato 6 months ago

The basic concept of bumping ads is still alive and well, I started posting ads for my computer service business in my area and noticed the very things I share in this book are being put to use. the only thing out dated are registration and the fact that you have to verify your info over the phone and so on, but this book is still valid.

I just got flagged down on craigs hitmen for having a competing keword in my city, now I am technically spamming, I just want to be able to compete with the other 'blackhats' out there

Eye-Spin will also assist is your posting, making it easier to post ads by avoiding duplicate content. From my experience, text ads do better than large images. Nice and affordable too (not like those raunchy auto-posters, which barely work) Check it out Eye-Spin.com

Regardless of what some people would prefer, there IS a market on Craiglist, and this is an intro to it. Unfortunately, the information is very basic and much of it is out of date. CL has tightened up the site to protect against spammers, and so many of the described techniques do not work anymore, and more deceptive tactics are needed. There is better, more current info out there...

Oh BTW, I launched my own classifieds site - www.listclone.com that doesnot have the same crappy rules as craigslist! I will be promoting it in NYC, wish me luck!!

Renato about 1 year ago

this post is for that hater that was talking verbal poop, I just found out craigslist is officially a for-profit company and ebay owns enough stock to launch their own craigslist clones in the USA and other countries, take that and stick it where the sun don't shine haters!!

how to post more than one ad.

Thanks Sunny I appreciate it!

It is sad to read the verbal abuse here in comments, really distracts from the article. While CL readers may hate certain types of posts or posters, we are all allowed to post if we follow the rules. Renato posts locally, with the exception of when was legitimately doing business in many different areas. This is more of a grey area and one I feel was handled respectfully and honestly. Please, anonymouse, if you're not Craig; why do you care if Renato and others repost **after deleting the original** ?? CL offers the option to do so... If the man wants to sit in front of his computer all day deleting and reposting, more power to him... He's not using bots or hiring posters or other shady practices, he's just sharing his good experiences with and ideas about a fun and intellegent site. Thanks R

listen, check out my other book, the Renato technique, maybe it will help you with your frustration and all the extra time you have on your hands.

Renato about 1 year ago

listen, I never got flagged, and I admit, I did not realize about ebay thing because I do not use ebay or ever did because it is not free. other than that I read the rules and I feel I do not break them with what I shared, if you dont like it, click the the X to close the page. your like a little teachers pet wanna be, kiss off, your fighting a cheesy battle, I still say you jealous.

2456 people viewed your ebook. Only 15 liked it.

That is TWO THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRED, FIFTY SIX people. And only 15 liked it or found it useful. I wonder how many were you?

hehe

I'll bet your eyes went right over the rules I posted that you directly recommended to violate. I know you did... you're humiliated and you can't bear to read the rules, copy and pasted, here on your page... a page that ignorantly declared the opposite

A Name Just For You about 1 year ago

I'm so glad you're leaving them up. If I found myself in your position, I'd have deleted them at the sudden horror of realizing how stupid I'd been called out as.

You wrote an ebook about how to be successful on craigslist. You gave advice that would have people **** on craislist and then become angry at being flagged for doing what "they told me I could do!"

After using your eBay advice to highlight your problems, you threw if off like no big deal. When your bad advice to top post was exposed, you retorted that you meant to post in multiple cities. Not the same topic. But ok, let's go with that. No multi city posting is one of THE fundamental rules. And you'd just reinforced that you recommend doing that.... you recommend to violate craiglist rules. A craigslist you claim to find so wonderful to you.

I'm SO glad you're leaving this up.

Renato about 1 year ago

Listen, I enjoy using craigslist, I think it is an awesome site and at the same time it is contributing to the community, if you want to be a coward and controller at the same time go for it, your sissy bully tactics arent going to work here I can delete your posts but I want them to remain cause your the example of a little ***** who needs to be led, you certainly are not a leader, BE ON WITH YOU!, btw, your a little girl too!!

Anonymous about 1 year ago

What do you have to say? Huh? "Oh, come out of anonymity, *****!"

You don't have anything to say--that's the problem. Why don't you make stuff up, like you did for your ebook to encourage people to abuse Craigslist?
