Diabetes

Astrologically : 1) Fifth house is karak for liver. 2) Jupiter is karak for liver. 3) Venus is karak for insulin itself. 4) Moon or Mars is karak for blood. (both can be interchanged as per nadi for blood). For any diabetes 5th house must be afflicted or weak with other factors. For type 1 : Venus must be afflicted therefore there is lack of hormone (insulin). For type 2 : Jupiter must be afflicted as liver is not able to store insulin, Here Jupiter can be afflicted with mars, and moon can be also afflicted as insulin is not utilized in blood due to resistance developed. You will see that obesity, laziness and high blood pressure are the main cause of this type of diabetes. 5) 8th house role should be also seen as this problem is chronic in nature and there will be long dasa indicating this problem.
