It also allowed students to network and socialize because teams of four had to be formed, enabling strangers to become friends at the end of the night. Read on below for the highlights of this fun night! Happy Sangria Day 2013

>>What: Sangria, a wine punch that originated from Spain more than 2000 years ago, is a popular drink enjoyed all over the world. Typically consisting of red wine, fruits, herbs and spices, some creativity in combining the ingredients comes in handy too! >>Who: The party was open to an enthusiastic and fun-loving group of 25 students. Lim Choon Sze from the Class of 2014 felt that it was a really enjoyable event that gave her insightful knowledge. On the success of the event, Joyce Wang, President of the Wine Society humbly explained, We are glad to be of service to our peers, organising exciting events and activities that give our members a wholesome tertiary education.

>>Why: To allow UNLV students to have an enriching yet fun experience in the comfort of our school at a fraction of the cost. To round off the night of fun and laughter, there was also a mini competition for the most creative, most potent, and most addictive drinks.
