This is probably theyounger of two immature BAEA peoplereport near transmission line. At 1100it was perched in the same tree and amale red-winged blackbird perched onanother branch. The rwbb attacked theeagle on the tail. The eagle went downinto the river for a fish and flew to theother side of the river. Observer couldnot see if the eagle got the fish. Then ayounger juvenile BAEA flew in andtook the sub-adult’s perch. Observerleft briefly and returned to find the sub-adult back on its perch and theyounger BAEA perched on anuprooted tree nearby preening.Adult BAEA flew up from the river andheaded north.
