I have many traits in me that I would like to change and that I am trying to change nowadays. I believe I acquired them in my childhood and knowing my parents I am sure they are responsible for that. It is hard to change yourself and I think one cannot truly change, at least not wholly. It is incredibly easy to return to your old habits. Thus, it is very important that you have control over yourself all the time as there always seem to be a temptation- realized or not, but there is. Life is hard. Growing up you receive contradictory signals and you are confused because you do not know which to choose. So maybe children follow their parents example because their behavior is familiar to them. Familiar in the meaning of safe.
