CONSTRUCTION SITE REQUIREMENTS CONTRACTORS MUST OBEY THE FOLLOWING REGULATIONS

Obtain all required permits Fence and secure work site Contain dust and debris Be diligent about waste disposal Obey all Municipal Code Requirements Keep work site and public way clean Observe all noise regulations RESPECT YOUR NEIGHBORS

FENCE AND SECURE JOB SITES All job sites must be enclosed by a chain link fence six (6) feet high and be anchored into the ground. Construction site fences must have well maintained fabric mesh that covers the fence, including gated openings. Do not hang fences over property lines or against neighboring properties. DUST CONTROL You must contain all dust generated by sandblasting, demolition, bulldozing, etc. Keep the area wet during to avoid excessive dust. Chutes, plastic tarps, and other measures are also necessary. ON-SITE WASTE Any waste or debris left on site temporarily must be securely contained. All other materials must be safely secured until they are hauled to a permitted waste-handling facility. KEEP THE STREET AND SIDEWALK CLEAR OF DIRT AND DEBRIS You must keep the public way clean at all times. Store dumpsters behind your construction site fence, unless you have been permitted for public way use. Clean the entire area around the construction site and neighbors property. RODENT ABATEMENT Demolition rodent abatement work is required. Keep site clean to prevent rodents. STANDING WATER No standing water is allowed at construction sites. PERMITS Contractors must obtain and display on site all necessary permits covering all aspects of the construction and demolition process. This includes all required public way permits and licenses. ILLEGAL DUMPING You are legally responsible for removal of any waste your project generates. PORT-A-POTTIES You must obtain a permit for a temporary toilet for your construction site and place it on the property, not in the alley or any other public way.

Work may NOT take place before 8:00 a.m. or after 8:00 p.m. No loading or unloading before 7:00 a.m. or after 10:00 p.m.
