1 Time: 1355 Golden eagle Sandy Hevener VA 642 about 0.5 mile east of VA Immature GE in road eating roadkill. It
Immature- white tail base, 640 just east of Blue Grass had a small head. The observer in car
dark brown fringe, no got a very clear look at its tail and back
pattern, possible hatch as it did not fly up as quickly as eagles
year usually do.
July 11, 2008
1 Time: 0700 Eagle Keith Carson Monterey Mt. Devil’s Backbone Eagle soared overhead. Observer
Solid, no white whatever area near Blue Grass thougth it an adult GE, but was not
positive.

2 Time: 1705-1750 2 adults 250 about 2.4 miles Second BE flew from north low over
1 hatch year tree and circled back and hatch year
BE followed. Both finally flew south
while perched bird remained perched.
It perch about 45 minutes while
observer mowed grass.

minutes.
