Plates
Superfast delivery time within Europe

Machined standard plates for all kinds of applications this is what Meusburger is able to provide in the eld of machine and jig construction. Additionally to its standard plate range, Meusburger offers custom size plates in different variations, in the same high quality as usual. Please refer to pages 6 and 7 for the variations and steel grades available. Of course, all plates are heat-treated for stress relief and manufactured to very exacting tolerances. Despite these large-scale measures, the plates can be supplied within a few days only.

Universally usable bars

N Standard bars
Universally usable standard bars, in different dimensions and steel grades; length and width sawn with allowance, thickness ground. Available in lengths of 500 mm and 800 mm.

NP Precision bars
Versatile precision bars in various dimensions and steel grades; width milled, length sawn with allowance, thickness ground. Available in a length of 500 mm.

NR Round bars
Round material for different elds of application; the length sawn with allowance and the diameter peeled, except for 1.2210 silver steel, where the diameter is ground to h9 tolerance.

NV Square bars
Drawn square bars applicable for various purposes; the sides bright, length sawn with allowance.

Heat-treatment for stress relief

A service for our customers

Our steel is heat-treated for stress relief in two furnaces (load capacity 40 and 60 tons per day). This procedure, which is performed on all steel processed by Meusburger, no matter which steel grade, creates perfect conditions for subsequent machining with little risk of warping, mainly due to the long furnace cooling period of 14h (35C per hour). Furthermore, the workpieces can be heat-treated again after the rough machining, if necessary.

Flame cutting
Short lead times and a good price

With ultramodern CNC machines, Meusburger can provide fast and cost-efcient ame cutting services to special dimensions or according to special drawings. No matter if contours or apertures are required, we can always guarantee top quality ame cutting services and prompt availability due to our large stock of raw material. Of course, all workpieces are heat-treated for stress relief after the ame cutting and then bead-blasted.

Deep hole drilling

Precise, fast and economic

Put your deep hole drilling tasks in Meusburgers hands we provide a precise, fast and economic service. For machining the holes internally cooled single-lip drills are used, so precision and good quality are guaranteed. Of course, the bores can also be equipped with the respective threads for plugs or nipples; additionally, lifting holes for handling heavy plates can be provided.
