Structuring an essay
-an academic essay is divided into 3 PARTS:1)INTRODUCTIONgives aGENERAL VIEWthat is meant to
introduce the THEME/ TOPICof the essay or it only presents theINTENTION
of the writer on the ideas to follow.2)CONTENT/ THE BODY OF THE ESSAYrepresents aDETAILED
PRESENTATIONof opinions, arguments, examples to sustain the topicshould consist of 2 or more paragraphs (each paragraph should introduce anew idea).3)CONCLUSIONrepresents aFINAL IDEAon the aspects
presented above that restates the topic in introduction.
