    Lane Closed Today on Valley Street


    SEATTLE – One westbound, right hand lane is closed on Valley Street from Fairview Avenue North to
    Westlake Avenue North, and will likely remain closed through the afternoon commute period. Seattle
    Public Utilities crews are repairing a broken waterline.

    This is in addition to a lane that is closed for construction on the opposite side of the street.

    The Seattle Department of Transportation builds, maintains and operates Seattle's $12 billion
    transportation infrastructure. To further Mayor Nickels’ goal to get Seattle moving, the department
    manages short- and long-term investments in streets, bridges, pavement and trees, that better connect
    the city with the region.
