EDITING WEB PAGES USING WORDPRESS 2.7.x

Logging In

In order to login to Wordpress you need to go tohttp://www.yoursite.com/wp-admin/then enter your login andpassword.

Navigating WordPress

Once you login you’ll see a menu on the left with different headings.You can expand an area by clicking on the down area on the right sideof that heading or contract it by clicking the area again.

Click here to get alist of pages onyour site to edit.Click to add newpictures to a galleryon your site.Click to edit orremove photos andadd titles toexisting photos.

Editing Pages WordPress

When you click on the “Edit” option under pages you’ll get a list of pages on your site.Hover your mouse over the particular page you are interested in andyou’ll see an “Edit” link. Click on the link to bring up the edit pagescreen.

Once on the edit screen you can update the text on the page. Onceyou have made the changes to the text, click “Preview” in the upperright to see your changes. If they look good, go back to the editscreen and click “Update Page.”
