 Just the basics…
Make sure you have the most updated version of Flip Share softwareinstalled. If it asks you to update when you plug the camera in, do theupdate and then you will be good to go.
How to edit & make your video look Super-Snazzy
1. Click the video you want to edit and then use the scissor button to trimthe clip to the desired length. Next, click the save and choose where youwant to save it
 
(on your computer or the camera).2. Next, click the Movie button in the “Create” box -> Find theclip(s) you edited and drag them into the box.
If you want to add morethan one clip, it will string them together and add fades b/w each clip.
Click next
to add your titles and credits.
Click next
and add your music,either from the choices provided or browse to the song of your choice.
You can set it to only play your music or to play both music and 
 
the audiofrom your movie.
Click next and name your movie and press “Create MyMovie.” It will create it and then it will show up in your “My Movies” list.
How to Email a Movie/Clip
Select the movie you want to email and press the Email button. Enteryour email address and the addresses of those you want it to go alongwith whatever message you want to send and click Share. It will uploadthe video and then send a link to the video to all the addresses youincluded, including yours. The recipients will be able to view the video,but it remains private in that no one can search for it or view it unlessthey have the exact address.
How to Capture a Snapshot from a Video
Select the video that you want to get a snapshot from and Click theSnapshot button in the “Create” box. Drag the slider until you get theframe you want to capture and then click “Save Snapshot.” Save it toyour computer. This handout is available athttp://pluggedin.wiki.hoover.k12.al.us/flip
