D. Create Maximum 6 points Create the presentation Task 1: Use Appropriate Techniques and Equipment Follow your plan! Update your plan when you complete a task. Enter the date, and/or new boxes in different colour when you complete a task. When you complete tasks and the time is different to your plan, explain the reasons why. Justify any other changes made to your plan, no matter how small.

Task 2: Process Journal. Follow the Plan Keep a process journal, with photographs, videos and brief explanations while making your presentation. EACH LESSON! Explain what went well what went wrong, what problems you solved and what you need to do next lesson. Process Journal.
22 January, 2013 Today I was doing the Manage and create task lists in Gmail task. I think that the lists will keep me very organised. In the video tutorial I thought that it didnt explain that you needed to click on the Mail button in the left, top corner of the screen. 23 January, 2013 The task that I did this lesson was Google Research. I thought that this was an easy and quick way to research something while on the middle of creating. The other advantage is

that you can preview the website so you can see the information at the same time as seeing your document. I am going to use this quick technique for lots of research projects.

29 January, 2013
Today I started setting up iGoogle. I think it is really cool because you can have your gmail on the screen at the same time as your google calendar. There are some awesome gadgets that you can add such as the weather (which is extremely accurate). 30 January, 2013 I personalized my iGoogle by adding a creative theme. I chose this theme because I think it adds colour to the page. The way you do change the theme on your iGoogle is by clicking on the button with a picture of some mountains that is located below your e-mail address. Once you press on that some themes come up. You can choose the one that you would like. The way I order my gadgets is by putting the ones that I find the most useful at the top. The way you move your gadgets is by clicking on the bar at the top of each gadget and moving them to where you want them. To delete the gadget you hold your curser over the bar at the top of the each gadget and press on the cross on the top right hand corner.

5 February, 2013 I completed some more of my Becoming a Gmail Ninja task today. I created the post on my weebly and added the email I sent to Miss Carter. Now, I feel a lot more knowledgeable about gmail and my emails are so much more organised. I also started learning about google calendar. I think that google calendar is cool because you can add labs and put an image as your background. The awesome thing about having the background is that you can put almost any image.

6 February, 2013 This lesson, I was helping Ms Carter set up the ipads so I didnt do 3D Game Lab. The Ipads were fun to order at first. After awhile, it got frustrating trying to find the apps. Organising the Ipads showed commitment on completing the task given. 12 February, 2013 Today, I completed my Google Calendar Quest. I think that I will stay more organised now that I have complete the quest. I find it useful having the google calendar because a reminder appears in the corner of my screen saying what is happening at that that time and what is next subject that is going to be. Something that I would change about it would be how it takes quite a bit of time to create the event even though Im not sure what I would do to make it quicker. Although, I do like the fact that it is easy deleted of change an event.

5 March, 2013 Today I started filling out the other stages in this document. I found number 2 in the create stage a bit confusing. I didnt understand it at first, although after a little bit of explaining I finally understood. 6 March, 2013 I have lots of great ideas to put into my my plan stage now and I feel very successful! I have started my Prezi and it is working well. I am really disliking using screencast-o-matic, screenr and the other screencasting tool because they dont work on my computer. I have spent hours trying to get it to work and I have had a computer genius try but he cant get it to work either. It is really frustrating. 12 March, 2013 I was trying to solve my problem by doing it on another computer if it works. So, I have created the screencast on the other computer. My plan didnt work because for some reason there is no sound. I am still get Java to work on my computer and I have now tried even more sites like Jing and QuickTime Player to see if they could work. Unfortunately, they havent worked for me. I dont know what to do.

E. Evaluate Maximum 6 points For the evaluate stage, you will: 1. Take a look at the specifications that you wrote in the Investigate stage. A) Are you happy with the outcome? Explain in detail. I am extremely happy with my outcome of my prezi. I think that I have a great theme. It is calm yet neat with the flowers. I think I have a enough slides to show the information needed. I think that I have inserted some important information B) Did anything change? What changed? Why did it change? Not much changed except I changed the amount of slides I had because I had so many ideas had to add extra slides. I also added my Gmail ninja because I am really proud of it. I was going to put some information on the tools and things that I will need but I thought I should keep it brief. C) Was something left out from the original plan? Why? The only thing that was left out of the original plan was the tools and materials needed. I left them out because I didnt think that they were necessary and they didnt flow with the rest of my presentation. That was the only thing that changed enough to notice. D) Is there anything you would change about your final product (invention) if you had more time or could rewind and do things over? What & why? There isnt very much that I would change because I think it looks great although, something that I might of changed if I had more time would be the background. I would change it to really cool background that I saw that has lots of electronics like a computer and iTouch/iPhone. I would change it to this because it makes sense since this is an IT project. I didnt change it mainly because it was quite busy layout which might have been confusing.

2. What are 3 things you learned from this project? 1 Lots of extras that we can use like Google Presentation 2 How to add themes/background and labs to Gmail 3 I have also learned a lot using google research 3. How would you rate your performance and involvement?
